What is Exfoliation?Exfoliate means to remove the surface in layers, flakes or scales, therefore, Exfoliation of the skin removes dead skin cells from the surface of your skin.
Why Exfoliate? Once dead skin cells are removed with an exfoliator, new ones are free to take their space. Exfoliating is an easy process that only adds a few minutes to your regular skin care regimen. The result is fresh, youthful looking skin that is smooth and soft to the touch.
Where Should I Exfoliate?Exfoliators are made for facial skin care & body care.
Facial exfoliators are made to remove dead skin cells from your face and neck area, while
body exfoliators help smooth skin on legs, knees, elbows and other trouble spots.
Exfoliation & Anti-AgingAs you age, the process of new skin cell regeneration slows down, leaving skin with a lackluster appearance. Exfoliating removes the dead skin cells and encourgages new skin cells to form. The result? Weekly skin exfoliation rejuvenates skin and can help minimize blotchiness & age spots.
Exfoliation & Dry SkinDry skin often appears flaky & scaly. Exfoliation removes the flakes and prepares the skin for better absorbtion of moisture. The skin soaks in face or body moisturizers and creams much better after exfoliating. The result? Excellent skin care and Healthy, hydrated skin.
Exfoliation & Oily SkinOily skin has excess sebum (oil), which causes clogged pours. Clogged pours then turn into blackheads, and pimples. Exfoliating clears clogged pours and removes the excess oil. The result? Weekly exfoliation can reduce clogged pours, and therefore, can help prevent a breakout.
