Q. Is my information safe when I place an online order on your website?

A. Yes. We guarantee that every online transaction will be safe. In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures. Please read our privacy policy, which states we will not give away, trade or sell any of your contact or secured order information.

Q. What are my options for placing an order with Cosmetics Kitchen?

A. Orders may be placed online through our secure checkout or over the phone with one of our product specialists Monday – Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST.

Q. What are Cosmetics Kitchen’s methods of payment?

A. We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Diner's Club and Discover credit cards.

Q. What is Cosmetics Kitchen’s return policy?

A. Our goal at Cosmetics Kitchen is to make sure our customers are 100% satisfied with their order. If our customers are not happy with their purchase, they may return their product within 30 days for a full product refund. Please note: shipping charges will not be reimbursed unless the product is defective or Cosmetics Kitchen has made an error. Please see our return policy for further details.

Q. Do I have to pay sales tax?

A. Since we are a business based in Rhode Island, products sold to Rhode Island residents must be charged 7% sales tax. Sales tax does not apply to residents in other states.

Q. How does Cosmetics Kitchen ship, and what are the rates?

A. Our shipping methods include UPS ground, USPS priority mail, UPS 2nd Day Air and UPS Next Day Air. Please see our shipping page for pricing and more information.

Q. How will I know when my item(s) have been shipped?

A. In stock items at Cosmetics Kitchen ship within 1 to 2 business days. As soon as an item has shipped, you will be notified by e-mail.

Q. How do I know if an item is in stock or on back-order?

A. At Cosmetics Kitchen, we do our best to keep all of our products in stock. In the rare event of a backorder, we will immediately inform our customers via e-mail and/or telephone. Customers with backordered items will have the choice of canceling their order, changing their order or waiting for their order to be fulfilled.

Q. How do I change or cancel an order?

A. Orders may be changed or cancelled providing they have not already shipped. If the item(s) have shipped, please refer to our return policy. Please e-mail us at customerservice@cosmeticskitchen.com immediately if you would like to cancel your order.

Q. How do I unsubscribe from the seasonal newsletter?

A. Simply e-mail us at customerservice@cosmeticskitchen.com with “unsubscribe” in the subject line. Please allow us one week to remove you from the list.
